James Wright was born and raised in the Wilmington, NC area. He graduated from Hoggard High School and Chowan College in Murfreesboro, NC where he majored in graphic arts. He then began to work with a television company in Wilmington as the Art Director. He has also served as artist and planner for the Graduation Celebration in New Hanover County. James has donated many of his artworks to the American Heart Association and to the Loggerhead Turtle Foundation at Topsail Beach. He is currently a member of the Brunswick Arts Council and continues to freelance his art as a one-man show.
