Extravagant Generosity
5 Practices - Extravagant Generosity

"You will be made rich in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God."

2 Corinthians 9:11

watercrossA generous spirit can be contagious. When we see the generosity of others, it is a witness to God’s generosity. When we see the generosity of others, it can be contagious. That generous spirit can be seen all over fruitful congregations. And it is contagious. Whether it is a person of limited means giving extravagantly, turning pockets inside out or someone of great means thinking of tithing not as a ceiling for giving but a floor, using their tithe only to begin their giving.  Generosity is a fruit of the Spirit.  Extravagant Generosity is contagious…we catch it from God who lavishes his love and blessings upon us.

Here are a few areas where your Extravagant Generosity could help!

Mission & Ministry Budget

Every Trinity Family member makes the commitment to financially support the mission and ministry of Jesus Christ at Trinity.  The Biblical goal is the tithe - 10% of our income.  If you are not currently tithing, consider your current level of giving, and set the goal to increase it one percent next year and every year thereafter until you arrive at the tithe.

People usually give according to how they receive their income.  Therefore, Trinity members can elect to give weekly, monthly, or yearly.

Building Debt Retirement

Our current building debt is approximately $1.6 million.  Please consider a second mile gift to help retire this debt.
